I'm tired, wanted to come home and take a nice hot shower, reach for the soap and the boogerman is there......Can't a girl get a good hot shower without being bothered by little green critters?

Danielle is a Costuming Dynamo

She is a freshman and has a true eye for colors, shapes, textures and what looks right. I am a design and construction wizard, but she is my design and color consultant. She is always challenging me to push the envelope and try new things. She is also a scene site model and LOVES the steampunk look. With her talent, energy and strong work ethic, she is going to go far in the costuming world! Watch out Broadway!!

.....and she is also a Thrift Store Junkie, like myself! She always looks awesome in her one of a kind outfits!

There are so many wonderful resources for the inquiring mind: Google, Libraries, Books, wandering and reading at bookstores, gut feelings and intuition.

Being a rather scientific sort and skeptic by nature, I enjoy gathering as many facts as possible and then sharing what I find with others. If you check my sidebar you will find links to resources that I use in my research and also sites that might be fun that pertain to a topic on my blog.

My grandmother was fond of saying: "The day we stop learning is the day we die." And I believe that with all of my heart, so let us keep learning together.
